Xindak mc10 step-up for mc sound detectors

The output signal from an MC (moving coil) cartridge type phonostage has a usual level of 0.001V~0.003V/47Kohms, which makes it possible to use it with normal phono preamplifiers that have an average gain of about 42dB. In order to be able to meet the demands of audiophiles, Xindak specially designed and manufactured the MC10: special modular transformers to be able to match moving coil (MC) type cartridges. By using ordinary signal cables and connecting the Xindak MC10 transformers between a turntable equipped with an MC-type phono type and a phono preamplifier, such as the Xindak LP-1 tube, it will be possible to amplify the very low signal coming from the MC cartridge correctly and at an exact level. The Xindak MC-10s are available in three different versions, with different gain: +20dB, +26dB and +30dB. This allows you to choose the most suitable model to achieve a perfect impedance match with your MC turntable. The Xindak MC10s are made entirely of aluminum alloy, with an outer wall thickness of about 8mm, and are equipped with two RCA terminals from American CMC, of the highest quality. Inside each of the two MC-10s is a permalloy transformer (a special iron-nickel alloy with very low dispersion) that ensures excellent performance, thanks to perfect shielding and excellent anti-jamming capability. The use of permalloy transformers is shrewdness reserved for very few devices intended for high fidelity, due to the high production costs of this type of transformer.
