Prendere l’idea di fondo di un prodotto di successo come il PHO-700 e svilupparla in modo ancora più esclusivo e originale. Nasce così Vincent PHO-701, preamplificatore phono che offre tanti motivi di interesse. Dal punto di vista visivo, l’elemento focale è evidentemente rappresentato dall’oblò centrale che lascia intravvedere la valvola interna (una 12AU7), per un effetto complessivo veramente delizioso.

Oltre all’estetica, in ogni caso, c’è pure tanta sostanza. A differenza dei modelli precedenti, Vincent PHO-701 dispone di switch per l’utilizzo di cartucce MM (magnete mobile) ed MC (bobina mobile). Grazie alla porta USB posteriore, inoltre, è possibile digitalizzare i propri vinili. Le altre connessioni includono input e output RCA.

Così come altri dispositivi del brand (primo tra tutti il PHO-500), la struttura integrata vede l’alimentatore nella sezione inferiore (il consumo è 15 Watt), e l’apparecchio vero e proprio nella parte superiore. Le specifiche tecniche vedono una risposta in frequenza compresa tra 10 Hz e 20 kHz, con distorsione armonica totale inferiore allo 0,05%, e sensibilità in entrata maggiore di 81 dB (per le MM) e 69 dB (per le MC).

Acquistabile anche in versione Silver, il prodotto registra un peso complessivo di 2,7 kg (1,5 Kg unità di alimentazione, 1,2 kg preamplificatore), per misure pari a 130x95x225 mm (sia per l'alimentatore che per l'apparecchio in sé).
