The Xindak XA8250MKII is the natural evolution of the well-known XA8250 model. It is, again, a pure Class A preamplifier, featuring a perfectly symmetrical dual mono structure design. It forms the perfect complement to the Xindak XA8800MNu and Xindak XA8800MNE monophonic power amplifiers. The input stage uses Toshiba Hi-Fi A970/C2240 transistors for the symmetrical dual parallel-channel circuit. The emitter of each transistor is connected in series to a resistor, and acts as a counter reaction circuit to reduce distortion and increase the linear dynamic range. The current amplification stage also uses a complementary push-pull amplification circuit with A970/C2240 transistors. The signal, thus, after being amplified is transferred directly to the output stage, keeping the original purity unchanged. The output stage adopts a pure Class A output scheme based on N-type and P-type JFETs, so as to increase the dynamic range and reduce the output impedance to a very low level. With this arrangement, the best possible integration between preamplifier and power amplifiers is ensured for perfect matching. The left channel, right channel and power supply circuit components are specially designed to be separate and isolated from each other. The power supply consists of three separate and distinct independent power supplies: two power supplies, each for one channel, and an additional power supply for the control circuit. This arrangement eliminates electromagnetic interference and optimizes channel separation (and consequently reduces crosstalk or crosstalking). The power supply filter uses military-specification electrolytic capacitors. In addition, there are balanced XLR and unbalanced RCA inputs/outputs with separate channels, equipped with protection and automatic muting functions. The XA8250MKII is a Class A JFET pre-amplifier: the sound is natural, transparent and very analytical. Extremely balanced in the entire frequency range: refined in the high frequencies, bright in the midrange, full in the low frequencies.
