Gli speaker a torre Klipsch RP-6000F II offrono un’esperienza sonora di altissimo livello. Il merito è delle tante soluzioni tecniche messe in campo dalla Reference Series II della casa americana, che riguardano tutti gli aspetti della configurazione a due vie. Basti pensare al tweeter da 1 pollice in titanio con tecnologia LTS (Linear Travel Suspension), supportato appieno dal sistema di caricamento a tromba Tractrix Horn 90° x 90°, che aumenta la chiarezza delle esecuzioni. I bassi, invece, sono gestiti da due woofer Cerametallic da 6,5 pollici e anelli di alluminio a protezione da eventuali interferenze.
Anche l’analisi del cabinet riserva diverse sorprese. La struttura in MDF si rivela solida e resistente, con pregiate finiture. Sul retro si trova la Tractrix Port, che riprende la “solita” geometria Klipsch per un trasferimento d’aria più efficiente. In questa stessa area sono posizionati i connettori, predisposti pure per configurazioni bi-wiring.
Infine, è necessario qualche accenno anche alle specifiche tecniche. La risposta in frequenza è compresa tra 38 Hz e 25 kHz, con sensibilità di 96 dB, impedenza nominale su 8 ohm e frequenza di crossover di 1770 Hz. Caratteristiche di tutto rispetto per speaker alti 100,6 cm, larghi 23,6 cm e profondi 44,6 cm.
