Gli speaker da pavimento Klipsch RP-8000F II fanno parte della rinnovata Reference Series II. Al loro interno includono tutte le tecnologie simbolo della casa americana, aggiornate e pronte a offrire nuove emozioni agli audiofili più appassionati.
La configurazione è a due vie, e vede la presenza di un tweeter da 1 pollice con struttura Linear Travel Suspension, pensata per regalare performance ancora più precise. In questa sezione si trova pure il sistema di caricamento a tromba Tractrix Horn 90° x 90°, con inserti in silicone pensati per aumentare la stabilità complessiva. I due woofer da 8 pollici, invece, sono di tipo Cerametallic e dotati di anelli in alluminio che, a mo’ di gabbia di Faraday, riducono le distorsioni. Il design dei trasduttori per i bassi, seppur rinnovato, riprende quelli che sono i punti fermi della serie Reference, ovvero massima rigidezza e minima distorsione.
Parlando delle specifiche tecniche, emerge una risposta in frequenza compresa tra 35 Hz e 25 kHz, con sensibilità di 98 dB e impedenza nominale su 8 ohm; la frequenza di crossover, poi, è di 1630 Hz. Trattandosi di un diffusore passivo, è necessario l’utilizzo di un amplificatore: la potenza gestibile è di 150 W (picco a 600 W), e sono possibili anche le configurazioni bi-wiring.
