Klipsch RP-504C II è un canale centrale pensato per le configurazioni multimediali più esigenti. Al suo interno include tutte le grandi innovazioni della casa di Indianapolis, riproposte in una configurazione ideale per esaltare i toni medi dei dialoghi di film e serie TV.
Sono presenti quattro woofer da 5,25 pollici con cono Cerametallic, capaci di offrire una riproduzione con distorsione minima e massima efficienza. Il tweeter LTS da 1 pollice, invece, sfoggia il rinnovato sistema di caricamento a tromba Tractrix Horn 90° X 90°, in grado di registrare performance dettagliate e bassa distorsione. Il trasduttore dedicato agli alti, inoltre, è ospitato in una camera di ventilazione che elimina le distorsioni, per esecuzioni ancora più limpide. Sul retro trova spazio poi una porta Tractrix per la gestione dei flussi d’aria e l’enfatizzazione dei bassi.
Tradotta in numeri, la configurazione appena citata propone una risposta in frequenza che va da 50 Hz a 25 kHz, con sensibilità di 96 dB e impedenza nominale su 8 ohm. La potenza di amplificazione richiesta, invece, è di 150 W (con picco a 600 W).
Tanti spunti di interesse provengono anche dall’analisi del cabinet in MDF, rinforzato e pronto a regalare la necessaria stabilità. I tamponi in sughero sostituiscono quelli in gomma, per una maggiore resistenza.
