Il canale centrale Klipsch R-50C della serie Reference può costituire un elemento di preziosa importanza all’interno di un sistema home theatre. Le sue caratteristiche tecniche sono concepite per far rendere al meglio la fascia media delle frequenze, quella dei dialoghi di film e serie TV.
Dal punto di vista tecnico, ci troviamo davanti a uno speaker con risposta in frequenza compresa tra 90 Hz e 21 kHz, sensibilità di 96 dB, impedenza nominale su 8 ohm e frequenza di crossover di 1650 Hz. La potenza gestibile è di 100 W, con picco a 400 W.
La configurazione prevede due woofer da 5,25 pollici con cono in rame filato e strutture in TCP, polimero cristallino termoforato. Tra i due trasduttori per i bassi trova spazio il tweeter da 1 pollice in alluminio con tecnologia Linear Travel Suspension (LTS), dedicata alla riduzione delle distorsioni. Questo driver, in aggiunta, può godere del rinnovato sistema di trasmissione a tromba Tractrix Horn 90° x 90°, con il suo design pensato per garantire prestazioni efficienti su tutta la gamma.
Per quanto riguarda il design, infine, va detto che il cabinet in MDF rinforzato trova facilmente spazio al di sotto di televisori e smart TV, e riduce l’impatto delle vibrazioni.
