Paul Klipsch, for example, founding engineer of the brand; born in 1904, a true pioneer in the field of audio reproduction, is a key figure who, thanks to his resourcefulness, was able to turn a utopia into reality. He was able to radically change the way the world listened to music! Dissatisfied with the lousy audio quality offered by the equipment of the time, he used his expertise in the field and his passion to demonstrate to the world how it was possible to reproduce the typical quality of an orchestra within his own home! - In 1978 Paul Klipsch was awarded the Audio Engineering Society's highest honor for his contributions in loudspeaker design and distortion measurement.
- In 1984 he was inducted into the Audio Hall of Fame.
- In 1997 he was inducted into the Engineering and Science Hall of Fame, a prestigious award given in the past to such extraordinary people as Thomas Edison, George Washington Carver and the Wright Brothers. - In 2004, almost as a matter of right, Paul Klipsch was inducted into the Consumer Electronics Hall of Fame, for having contributed his creativity, tenacity and determination to shape the consumer electronics industry by giving it its current connotations.
