Subwoofer
Your filter
A subwoofer is an acoustic speaker that reproduces low-frequency sounds, it normally has a cubic shape and possesses frequencies ranging from 20 to 200 Hz. Depending on the purpose this measurement varies, for example, during musical performances it is appropriate to range from 20 to 100 Hz and for film reproduction from 20 to 80 Hz.
There are two types: passive type and active type. In the first case, it needs to be combined with an external amplifier and needs more power to reproduce the bass; therefore, the amplifier or AV receiver must donate enough power to sustain the bass effects reproduced by the sub. In contrast, the active subwoofer, also known as powered, is perfectly capable of operating on its own and consequently lightens the load on the A/V receiver.
HiFi Prestige's proposals
Sound quality depends on the type of instruments used. HiFi Prestige offers a wide and varied selection of subwoofers that meet different needs. Each of these differs in certain criteria, such as the number of acoustic frequency bands that the crossover produces, the material from which it is made, its size, sound output, and purpose. Choosing the right product is a matter of the "ear"-it becomes essential to find the ideal balance for the system into which it will fit.
